Obnoxious on several levels

1. Adverting at bottom and menu at top takes up too much screen real estate. 2. Blinking buttons that incessantly draw the eye. I thought blinking had been sufficiently mocked a decade ago. 3. Links to other sites are captured in the app, making emails and some of a sites features a barely usable, and of course, the menus and ads take up even more space. 4. Because they have a fixed format, enlarging text and photos doesnt work. 5. If you leave the app--for example, to look at mail--the app doesnt retain your place. Instead, it goes to the home page so you have to find your place again. 6. Crashes more than other apps. 7. If you try to email a link in a captured page, it doesnt capture the pages title. Sometimes, it is incapable of even knowing what that pare is. 8. Sometimes freezes when linking to other sites as it tries to figure out how to use that sites code in the app. Too bad they cant get their act together. Like the basic layout.

Keeps sending me to iTunes

Since updating, I cant read a single article since it keeps sending me to iTunes to get a new useless app.

Surprise! You got an Ad

Just deleted this app after years of use because Im sick of it opening the App Store to try and get me to download different apps. Ill get my news elsewhere now.

Deleted

This was one of the first app I installed when I got my phone, I used to love Huffington Post, but its been a steep decline since it was purchased by AOL. This app is awful theres no search, full of ads and auto play videos. Im done.

No Trump

Thank you! Finally no articles on Donald trump on you front page!

Hot mess.

Incomplete headlines, links that dont lead to the correct articles, grammar errors EVERYWHERE. Get it together, Huff Post.

Tries to randomly install 3rd party apps

I am a big fan of HP as far as content goes, but I absolutely hate how their mobile app, without permission and without warning, automatically launches the App Store in an attempt to get the user to install 3rd party apps.

Aggressive Popups

Huffpost is awesome! Please dial back the Popups that open the AppStore without clicking the ad. Getting old...

Arianna Huffingtons very personal Melt Down

If you want a front row seat to Arianna Huffingtons melt down over Donald Trump this is the place to be otherwise just another good idea gone bad .

This App Needs Much Work

I use Safari to view Huffington Post. But far too often errors occur and pages are reloaded. Thats my motivation for trying the App. Sadly this App is riddled with difficulties. The App performance suggests it was released before completion. For now using Safari, even with the reloading pages, is my choice for viewing HP content.

Wont install

Latest update hangs during install so now I cannot open it or delete it. Lame.

Distracting advertisements

I just updated to the latest version. Now I am noticing an obnoxious ad at the bottom of the page articles that blinks on and off. Of course it is rooted to bottom of page and always visible. Thanks to this moving ad I cannot focus on reading articles. Not worth the time and distraction. Deleting app and reading news from other sources. Even the online browser based Huffington Post website is easier to read.

Ads ads and more ads

This is pretty bad for even them. You will get pop ups and you will be constantly moved to he iTunes Store to download the uber app or candy crush.

Auto-Launching the App Store

The app now auto-launches the App Store in an afford to hard-sell advertiser apps. If I wanted to play Candy Crush, Id have downloaded it one of the 8,000 times a face of friend has invited me. Fix this quickly or I delete the app.

Poor layout and performance

The app wont even open for me consistently. The layout is terrible. It no longer looks like stories from a reputable news source. I cant remember having ever given any other app a 1 star rating. This app doesnt even deserve one star! After using this app for more than a year, I stick to my original critique. The may have actually gotten worse! You click on a link to a story and you are directed out of the app to a web-based advertisement or to the Apple App Store. I have no problem with ad-supported news apps. But the ads shouldnt take you out of the app and use a ridiculous amount of data. Apple, please make no stars an option. This app deserves it 4-17-16 I feel like I have to provide the date every time I provide another bad review for this app because all of my reviews are negative and they just seem to be running together. The latest update for this app has added a new bug that prevents me from viewing ANY articles. The app is completely worthless now. I will probably not read HuffPost until the app is fixed. HuffPost, you need to hire someone else to create an app for you.

Good news, bad app

Good news site but this app gets less useful with every upgrade. Navigating other channels is difficult unless you make it a favorite. Then new channels mysteriously show up randomly. But the worse part is the removal of a search. Not even key word searches are present. This doesnt give the ability to follow a desired news story or topic. Once was my primary source. Now I resist even opening it. I miss Huffington post but I just cant use it on my iPhone anymore. Not worth the frustration.

Candy crush? Really?

If this app doesnt stop opening the App Store to suggest I download candy crush everytime I try to read an article, I will delete it.

Fake advertising clicks and automatic commercials still?

Click bait with Automatic commercial playback for ads. Desperate and low class
